OUR. InstructorS
CEO & Founder
Hi, I’m René, the heart and soul behind OUR. Pilates Co, a reformer studio built on a dream and a whole lot of passion!
As a single mum with little family support, I struggled to find a space where I could move my body without the guilt of leaving my kids behind. Traditional mums & bubs classes didn’t always fit, and crèche drop-offs felt like a battle. So, I stopped prioritising myself—and my mental & physical health took a hit.
Then I found Pilates. It helped me feel strong again, not just in my body but in my sense of self. I knew other mums needed this too, so I created OUR. Pilates Co—a space where you can move, reconnect, and show up for yourself without compromising your role as a mum. Whether you’re a parent to human babies or fur babies, you’re welcome here. No guilt, just movement that makes you feel amazing.

OUR. Admin & Instructor Coordinator Reformer Pilates Instructor at OUR. Charlestown and OUR. Cameron Park
I've always been drawn to movement. After spending more than 15 years as a competitive Highland dancer and representing Australia internationally with OzScot Australia, I discovered Reformer Pilates while recovering from injury, and it didn't take long before I fell in love with it.
I have a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, which has given me a real appreciation for how the body moves. I love helping people build strength and confidence through movement in a way that feels supportive, challenging and fun.
When I'm not teaching classes, I'm also one of the faces behind the scenes at OUR. You'll often find me answering your emails and messages, working on marketing and events, coordinating OUR. instructors and helping keep everything running smoothly across all of OUR. studios.
Outside of Pilates, you'll usually find me with a matcha in hand and pending quality time with my partner Mitchell and our very spoiled doggo, Kevin. I can't wait to meet you and welcome you into OUR. community!
MEET AVA
Lead Reformer Pilates Instructor at OUR. Morisset and OUR. Cameron Park
I moved up from Sydney in 2021, five months postpartum and craving a sense of community. Pilates quickly became my space - somewhere I could reconnect with my body, move, breathe, and do something just for me.
I’ve been teaching since 2022 and genuinely love watching people discover what their bodies are capable of. There’s nothing better than seeing someone walk into their first class unsure, and then watching their strength, confidence and control grow over time.
I’m certified in Reformer Pilates, Pre & Post Natal Pilates and Stretch, and my classes are all about full body flows with plenty of spice. I love working with lighter springs to really challenge your stability and get those deeper muscles firing. You can expect layered exercises so you can modify or level up depending on where you’re at in your Pilates journey, because everyone starts somewhere.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll either find me with my hubby and girls, on a tennis court, or hiding away reading my kindle.
MEET BETH
Lead Reformer Pilates Instructor at OUR. Charlestown
Hey, I’m Ash! I’ve always been super active and played a heap of different sports growing up—but it wasn’t until I became a mum that I truly fell in love with Pilates. It gave me the perfect way to strengthen and support my body in a safe space, all while still getting that post-workout burn I crave.
In my classes, you’ll find layered flows, killer playlists, and plenty of chances to challenge yourself (yes, heavy springs included!). Modifications are always welcome, so wherever you're at in your Pilates journey, I’ve got you.
And when I’m not in the studio? I’m probably down at the beach wrangling my three kids with a coffee—or a spicy marg—in hand.

Hi I’m Hannah! As a city girly running large conventions around Australia and being on my feet for sometimes 17 hour days, my physical and mental health was taking a toll on me. I began focusing on my health, moved to Newcastle, had a baby and found my passion in fitness.
I love all things fitness whether it’s going for a walk, lifting weights or spending time on the Pilates reformer. Being a Mum has made me prioritise what is important and I love that I can pass that on to my clients.
Still a city gal at heart, I do love to get glammed up and have a good night out… it’s all about balance!

I’m one of those mums who wishes she’d found Pilates sooner! Some of my sweetest memories are of my daughter curled up on my chest while I did leg presses or feet-in-straps work. Pilates completely changed my body & mindset, and I knew I had to share that feeling with others.
Now, as an instructor, I love helping mums rediscover their strength & confidence—both inside & outside the studio.
And when I’m not teaching? You’ll find me at home, curled up with a good book or puzzle, indulging in a cheese board & a glass of red wine.
Balance, right?!
MEET CAITLIN
Reformer Pilates Instructor at OUR. Cameron Park
It started with a love for the burn, and turned into something that completely reshaped how I connect with my body. After 7 years of practicing, I am in my third teaching year, I’ve fallen in love with how empowering reformer pilates can be when it’s infused in strength and intention.
My classes blend reformer flow with strength-based movement to challenge both your body and your mindset. Think spicy core work, glute burners, and those feel-good shakes that remind you just how strong you really are.
I’m here to help you discover what your body can do, and to support you as you push past the limits you think you have.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me beachside, hanging out with my friends and our two cheeky mini dachshunds, Arlo and Chilli.

MEET jayna
Reformer Pilates Instructor at OUR. Cameron Park & Admin Team
Hi, I’m Jayna—with a love for sport and movement that’s been part of me for as long as I can remember. Growing up active, I was always chasing that post-sweat buzz, and eventually found my way to Pilates. Becoming an instructor felt like the perfect way to turn passion into purpose.
In my classes, you’ll find a supportive, high-energy space where we challenge limits, celebrate progress, and maybe even shake a little (okay, a lot). I’m here to push you to your best and have a whole lot of fun along the way.
Outside of teaching at the studio, I'm also part of the admin team, so there's a good chance you'll chat to me over the phone too!

Hello, I’m Claire. I was one of the first members through the OUR. Pilates Co Charlestown studio doors, so stepping into the instructor role feels like a beautiful full-circle moment.
In my classes, you can expect simple moves done well, a satisfying full-body burn and space to show up exactly as you are. Yes, even if your class includes baby wrangling, forgetting your left from your right or counting down to feet in straps. Trust me, I’ve been there.
Outside the studio, I’m a wife, mum of two, marriage celebrant, one-time Guinness World Record holder and former game show contestant. I wear a few hats, but being part of this community is one of my favourites..

MEET MACKENZIE
Reformer Pilates Instructor at OUR. Cameron Park
Hi there, my name is Mackenzie, and I am so excited to introduce myself to you all as a Pilates instructor at Our Pilates Co at Cameron Park studio. I began my Pilates journey alongside many of you at the Charlestown studio and instantly fell in love.
Compared to traditional gym spaces, I felt drawn to the supportive, female dominated space and being guided through classes, which meant I had to do exercises I despised (bridges, I’m looking at you).
When I am not at the studio, you can find me sprawled out in the sun with a good book, hanging out with my pets, playing games with friends, or pretending I’m an artist (a Kmart paint by numbers hates to see me coming). I am also studying for a Media and Communications degree which helps keep me busy.

Hey, I’m Sim!
My journey into Pilates began long before I became an instructor. It started with dance and continued through eight years of service in the Royal Australian Air Force. Moving around the world taught me early on that movement isn’t just about fitness, it’s about balance, resilience, and supporting your mindset. Pilates became the practice that helped me feel grounded, strong, and connected to myself, no matter where I was.
Over time, my passion for Pilates only deepened. I love blending my technical eye with my dance background to create classes that feel strong, flowing, and energising. You can expect intentional movement that builds strength and mobility, with options for every body and every ability because Pilates should feel empowering, not intimidating.
My goal is simple. I want you to leave class feeling confident, supported, and stronger than when you arrived. Whether you’re brand new to Pilates or have been practicing for years, I’m here to meet you where you’re at and support you every step of the way.

Hi, I’m Danni! I’ve been a fitness instructor for six years and I’m also a librarian, so yes, I love a well-researched class plan almost as much as a good story. As a Reformer Pilates instructor, I bring creativity, intention and plenty of heart to every class.
I’m passionate about creating vibrant, feel-good sequences and the occasional “fun finisher”. Most of all, I love connecting with our community and making movement feel empowering and accessible.
You can expect playful flows, groovy music and some questionable counting along the way. My aim is to create a space where you can move, learn and build a collection of joyful movement. My classes are always open, especially on the days you’re feeling a little overdue.

Reformer Pilates Instructor at OUR. Morisset Studio
Movement has always been a part of my life. Growing up a dancer I began my career teaching Jazz Ballet and Tap Dancing, which developed my love for helping others build confidence through movement and led me on to complete my group fitness and personal training qualifications. I have now been in the fitness industry for over 20 years and love helping people move, feel and live better.
I have recently returned to instructing Reformer Pilates and I am loving it. I love that Pilates is a safe and effective way to exercise while placing less stress on the body (something I have come to deeply appreciate through my own experiences and age). I value the way it strengthens not only the body but also calms the mind. I am passionate about helping people move well, feel strong, and enjoy exercise in a way that supports both their physical and mental wellbeing.
When I am not instructing classes, I am hanging out with my family and my teenage twin boys. I love being outdoors, going for a SUP, having a workout, watching my boys surf at the beach and going on little adventures.

Hi, I’m Lauren!
Pilates instructor, personal trainer, mum of two, and coffee lover - both in mug and martini form. If I’m teaching an AM block, expect to see me with a coffee in one hand and a stop watch to keep me accountable in the other!
For over 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with so many amazing people, particularly women and mums, both in the fitness community and beyond.
In this time, I became a mum myself and began to understand firsthand the demands motherhood has on women, how important it is for women to prioritise their health physically but also mentally, and for them to have a safe space to be able to move freely, with support, kindness & without fear of judgement (maybe with their little one/es in tow).
I’m passionate about creating a fun, welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable to move at their own pace.
In my classes, you can expect a slow burn…think some form of side lying leg sizzle, glute bridges and slow building flows with layers you can take or leave depending on the day!

MEET CAROLINE
Reformer Pilates Instructor at OUR. Toronto & OUR. Charlestown
Hi, I’m Caroline! I’m so excited to meet OUR. Morisset community and embark on this journey with you.
I’ve been a Pilates girly for many, many years - I joined my first studio in 2005. Yes, really! It is a practice I have returned to over and over again. I love the way it connects me to my body and also provides a moment (or 45 minutes) of focus, clarity and mindfulness outside of the busyness of everyday life.
Fast forward a few years and I left my corporate career behind to become an instructor, and follow a career path that nourishes me and allows me to support others in their journey. It’s always my aim that you leave my classes feeling connected to your body, challenged, and with your cup just a little bit fuller than it was when you walked in.
Outside of teaching, I am a mum to an adorable and energetic three year old boy. When I’m not teaching you can find us outdoors exploring Lake Macquarie and Newcastle.
Reformer Pilates Instructor at OUR. Toronto
Hey I’m Hannah. I first found Pilates after I finish dancing and I instantly fell in love with it! I absolutely adore how you can connect with your body and build strength and flexibility all in one go.
My classes are always high vibes, good energy and always with a little bit of banter each class. I do give a little bit of spice in each class, but I’ll make sure that you always leave feeling accomplished and so proud of yourself!
Outside of the studio you’ll find me hanging out with my partner and cats, spending time in nature or grabbing a coffee at one of my favourite cafes.
MEET HANNAH R.
Reformer Pilates Instructor at OUR. Toronto, OUR. Morisset & OUR. Cameron Park
Hi, I'm Bree! My love for Pilates started at OUR Cameron Park open day and from the moment I walked through the doors, I haven't been able to stay away. After working in real estate for 10 years I took a leap and completed my certification so I could turn my passion into a career. As a mum juggling full work, family and the chaos of everyday life, I found myself feeling disconnected from my body and mind and unable to commit to any movement without sacrificing time with my family. Pilates helped me rediscover confidence, strength, and a genuine love for movement, while introducing me to an incredible community. It made such an impact on my life that I knew I wanted to help others experience that same feeling.
My classes focus on intentional movement that builds strength, stability, and endurance in a supportive environment where everyone feels welcome. I believe movement should fit into your life not take you away from it and I love creating a space where you can prioritise yourself without the guilt.
Expect slow, controlled movement, lots of encouragement, and plenty of happy, high-energy vibes! I have a soft spot for short upper body burners and love creating classes that challenge your endurance, stability and leave you feeling a little bit shaky - in the best way.

Hi, I’m Emalee! Yes, it’s just like the name Emily… but my parents made sure I’d never find anything personalised! My teaching style is all about building strength, confidence and resilience through movement. I love creating full-body flows that challenge your strength and endurance, with a focus on time under tension.
Movement has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up dancing and competing around Australia before discovering the gym and reformer Pilates, which became my outlet for both physical and mental wellbeing.
I’m also a bit of a medical nerd, with a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science, so I love blending my clinical knowledge with classical Pilates principles to help you move well and feel your best.
After undergoing two back surgeries at just 28, I experienced firsthand how powerful movement can be in rebuilding both the body and confidence. That journey shaped the way I teach, reminding me that Pilates isn’t about perfection, it’s about meeting your body where it’s at and celebrating what it can do.
Whether you’re here to build strength, improve mobility, recover from injury or simply take time for yourself, my goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel supported, challenged and leave every class feeling stronger than when you walked in.
MEET EMALEE
Reformer Pilates Instructor at OUR.
Hi everyone, I’m Ellie and I love to move! I grew up playing every sport under the sun from dancing, swimming, touch football, tennis, gymnastics, surf life saving and netball. Growing up in these spaces taught me the importance of health and fitness as well as belonging and finding a sense of community.
In high school, as I progressed through the elite netball pathway, I started hitting the gym and instantly fell in love with strength and resistance training. Not only does it make me feel strong and fit but it helps keep my mind in check.
So when my friend dragged me along to a mat pilates class, I became ADDICTED. Going to pilates taught me discipline and I became so much stronger in the gym and in every other aspect of my life.
Studying to become an instructor felt so natural to me. Being able to share my love (and addiction) of pilates is my dream job and I’m forever grateful to be able to empower people from all walks of life to move their bodies in a space where they feel they belong!

Hi everyone, I’m Zara!
I’ve never really been someone who knew exactly what I wanted to do after school. I’ve always just followed what I enjoy, and one thing that has always been a huge part of my life is movement.
I grew up playing every sport that I could fit into my routine before and after school. I was always wanting to try something new. I love being active, but it wasn’t until I found Pilates about three years ago that I realised just how much I loved the way movement could make you feel, not only physically stronger but more confident and connected to yourself too.
Since then, Pilates has become such a big part of my life, and I’m so excited to now be able to share that with other people. I want my classes to be a place where you can challenge yourself, feel good in your body and leave feeling a little more confident than when you walked in.
When I’m not doing Pilates, I’m probably planning my next trip, trying something new or finding my way to the beach. Travelling and being by the ocean are two of my favourite things, so you’ll definitely find me making the most of every summer day off by the water!
